Here is where I will update how I am getting on with my Health Check for the quarterly badge Be Brave!
01 Screening – I need to book in for a smear test
02 Do it for Dee! – self checks – Checks completed – not something I had thought about until now to be honest. So Thank you!!
03 Teeth – have contacted several dentists to register
04 Eyes – completed eye test – and now have contact lenses
05 Sugar – Review sugar intake
06 More movement – earned bronze award with slimming world – heading for silver now!!
07 Little Niggles – I still need to make the appointment (I will do it!)
08 Skin and Hair – I have improved both skin and hair routines, still not happy with hair routine I need to find a shampoo that I like!
09 Medicines and supplements – I have been relying a lot on pro plus and ibuprofen so I have reduced that over the last few months
10 Mental health first aid – I have mental health first aid training and so do the staff at our work. It is something we need to push for any new staff and volunteers
11 Mindfulness – There are definitely habits that I am trying to keep up with, reading and drinking water are key at the minute but difficult to find the time
12 Unhelpful habit – Pepsi Max – I know I have to give it up but I rely so much on it at the minute!
The ones in bold I have completed! The others I am going to continue working on!
