So here we go again, I do aim to be more organised and prepared this year with my Rebel Badge stuff, but I cannot promise – the fast that it has taken me 4 days to even read the criteria for the monthly and quarterly badges this month – and also taken this long for me to make my passport – but I have done it! I have made a start.
I have a plan and I just have to stick to it!!
For the quarterly badge ‘Lift Off! 2025″ I am planning on completing Writer, My People, Geocacher, Rebel Buddy, Gamer and Reader over the next 12 months. In addition I am hoping to start advanced reader from July (once reader is completed!) To go with this I would really like to work on 52 books this year! I will be making my vision board over the next few weeks and then my 3 goals for 2025 are to save money, eat healthier, and be more organised!!
How am I going to do that?
Save money – I have a bank account that I never use – so I will use this bank account to save £200 per month which can only be used for birthdays and Christmas!!
Healthy eating – order food shops for delivery or click and collect so I am not walking around the shops buying things I don’t need. Cook from scratch 3 times a week – no throwing out food that we haven’t used!!
Organised!!! – I really want to get on top of everything this year. As soon as things come in I am going to add them to my calendar and then I am going to check the calendar every Sunday ready for that week!
For the monthly challenge – Butterfly effect – I have decided to try something new each week for January (but to try and keep it going too!)
Week 1 – cook healthy meals 3 times a week
Week 2 – No fizzy drinks
Week 3 – Walk for 30 mins, 3 times a week
Week 4 – Listen to podcasts on the way to work
I have also downloaded a gratitude app on my phone to add little moments too to read whenever I need to – I think I am looking forward to this one the most!!
Eat more fruit every day
New morning habit – GET UP EARLY!!! Read my bible during this time with cup of tea and peace and quiet!
I have ordered things to make a bullet journal to write down anything and everything (I haven’t decided yet basically) This is going to form part of my self care ritual – spend 5-10 mins every day which will equal to 35-70 mins a week just spending time doodling, drawing and being creative!
And finally I am going to write thank you notes for those who I feel helped me last year – I am looking forward to writing these too!
So there it is!! Month 1 of Rebel Badge Club 2025!! I am hoping to post three times a month, the beginning with overview of the monthly challenges and badges, then two weeks (ish) later an overview of the challenges for Rebel Cup 2025 and then the final one will be an update on how I have got on that month!
